The bbc Investigation
Statement Released 18th March 2004
Following reports in the MK News this week the BBC’s Rough Justice programme has issued the following statement:-
We can confirm we are investigating this case and urge everybody who is reading this message to contact the programme. Whether you support Barri White and Keith Hyatt or not please contact us. Even if you think you haven’t really got anything significant to add we need to hear from everyone who knew any of those involved and to hear all views from as many people as possible.
We also want to hear from anybody who went to the trial. We are not yet in a position to say whether we will ultimately make a TV programme about this case. However, any programme we make must be balanced and fair. We can only do that if people tell us what they think. Do not let your voice go unheard. You can speak in complete confidence to Louise Shorter, the Producer on the programme on 020 8752 6845 or email Louise.Shorter.01@BBC.CO.UK or write to Louise Shorter, BBC Rough Justice Programme, Room 5362, 201 Wood Lane, London. W12 7TS.
Barri and Keith along with their family and friends are gratefull to the BBC especially to Louise Shorter for all the work and investigation that has been and continues to be carried out. Also to all the experts and legal team who have given their time and expertise, I can't name you here but you know who you are.
