The Facts
Only 1½ minutes from first phone call from Rachel to her flatmate ended till first phone call to Keith’ house.
Police still have not come up with a time of death, indeed they don’t even know if Rachel was taken from Oldbrook before or after she was strangled
Paint flakes found on Rachel's clothes have never been traced, despite the police checking both men's houses, cars , vans, and places where Rachel was know to have been that evening, Chicago’s etc.
No Forensic support whatsoever to link Barri or Keith to the site of Rachel's Body.
No Forensic tests or results given on some items found in the area of the body. Under cross examination the Scene of Crimes Officer when questioned on these items answered “I Don’t know”
No Forensic tests or results given on soil analyses at the site of Rachel’s body in respect of particulates found on her clothes, this despite the only Forensic expert used by the prosecution being an EXPERT in SOIL analyses.
No fingerprint or DNA from either Barri or Keith found on Stoplock used to violate Rachel after death.
No Motive
A man living on Oldbrook with a conviction for murder and released under license, after serving 10 years worked at Woburn Golf Club was questioned at the time, but his alibi (unsupported) was accepted by the police.
The CPS wrote to both men before the trial stating the case was being dropped against them because NO EVIDENCE had been found
